The CPICARD is used to add a set of monitored photo eyes (CPS-U, CPS-OPEN4, CPS-RPEN4), monitored light curtain (LC36M) or a monitored edge (OES) to a non-monitored operator. In the case of monitored photo eyes or edges, entrapment protection systems will only be monitored from the photo eyes/edge to the interface module itself and does not qualify as a monitored safety protection system.
