Description
Miller Edge MWRTA12 Transmitter and Receiver Kit includes Miller Edge's MWTA12 transmitter with low battery alarm, and MWR12 single channel receiver combined into one convenient package. The transmitter is designed to provide wireless signal transmission from the safety edge to the motor controls. It is mounted and wired to the gate or door edge sensor. When the sensing edge comes into contact with an obstruction, a closed circuit signal is created and is sent to the transmitter. The transmitter relays the information to the receiver and the receiver passes the signal along to the operator motor. The gate or door stops movement and will then reverse the direction of travel.
- The transmitter has an audible alarm feature that activates when the battery is running low and needs to be replaced. The transmitter also comes standard with a NEMA 4 weather-proof Polycarbonate enclosure. The enclosure can be easily mounted with the four mounting holes and screws provided.
- Both the receiver and transmitter have a compact design which allows for easy trouble shooting via the see-thru case. Selectable features include: coded dip switches and a wire harness for relay options.
- Applications include non-monitored Miller Edge electric sensing edges, Miller Edge air-wave sensing edges and Miller Edge pneumatic sensing edges
- Single channel receiver (MWR12) and transmitter with low battery alarm (MWTA12), batteries included
- Transmitter response time: Nominal 30 msec
- Transmitter operating frequency is 318 Mhz; Maximum operating distance is 100 feet in optimal conditions
- The receiver operates on either 12 or 24 volt AC/DC and provides normally open or normally closed output
- Mounting: Transmitter- #6 self drilling screws included; Receiver- 2 side flanges
