The 2170 Series Slide Gate Operators are engineered to automate vehicular slide gates in residential, commercial, and industrial applications where reliability and high-duty performance are critical. Designed for Class I–IV operation, the 2170 Series combines a powerful brushless DC motor, precision gearbox, and chain-driven operation to deliver smooth, consistent gate movement in demanding environments. Built-in battery backup ensures continued operation during power loss, while solar-ready power options provide added installation flexibility.
The 2170 Series offers rugged performance for heavy slide gates up to 40 feet in length, with models available to handle gate weights up to 3,500 lbs. Available in two configurations — 2170-380/382 and 2170-381/383 — these operators feature a solid steel frame, continuous-duty rating, and nickel-plated #40 chain for long-term durability. Quiet operation, easy-access internal components, and push-button constant-pressure manual operation make the 2170 Series a dependable, low-maintenance solution for a wide range of secure access control applications.
